Weather CancellationsIf the Brownsburg Public School System closes due to inclement weather, our events on those days will be cancelled and rescheduled, if possible. However, always check your e-mail for additional cancellations.Photograph PolicyMany parents take photographs at HB events. Some of them are for private scrapbooks while others go onto our website or in the newspaper. If you do not want your child(ren) in a group picture that might go on the website or newspaper, it is your responsibility to remove them from the picture.Transportation PolicyHB is not responsible for transportation to or from events.Payment PolicyOnce event registration is closed, all registrations are considered as final purchases, and each member is responsible for payment of those events. Events purchased cannot be canceled or removed after registration is closed. All families are required to pay for all events for which they register by the payment due date listed in the newsletter (Friday of the week after registration). If payment is not received by the due date, the following procedures will be followed:
Check PolicyIf a member's personal check is returned to HB for insufficient funds, it is the responsibility of that member to promptly pay the proper funds to our Treasurer and to also reimburse HB for any fees assessed to our bank account caused by your returned check. If this is not done, the member will be considered in default and will face the same consequences as a 'non-payment'.No Refund PolicyHB holds to a No Refund policy for both membership and events purchased. The ONLY exception to this policy is in the case of an event being cancelled or postponed for circumstances out of our (Heritage Builder's) control. If an event is totally canceled, the registration money will be credited or refunded. In the case of postponement, refunds will be issued to families who are unable to attend the new date/time.If, at any time, it is determined that your family cannot attend an event for which you registered, it is your responsibility to "sell" your place to another family. You can call the coordinator to see if there is a waiting list, or you can put out an email through our e-news to see if someone else is interested in buying your place. (Note: most functions are prepaid and/or planned according to the number of persons who are registered. Please notify the coordinator of the change!) |
